Six women receive ‘Ladies Choice’ awards
SIX special women, noted achievers in their respective fields, were honored in a special program in Dagupan City last April 20.
Named “Ladies of Choice of the Island Fiestas” were Celia V. Lambino, wife of Vice Gov. Oscar Lambino, for her active role in promoting health and community welfare: Sonia G. Yao, vice-president of Dagupan Bangus Jaycees, creative publisher/souvenir artist; Kamela C. Seen, food innovator and owner of Plato Wraps.
Imelda Austria, restaurateur and owner of Matutina’s Seafood Restaurant, Michelle Lioanag, bangus connoisseur and owner of Ragtime Restaurant and lawyer Geraldine Baniqued, Dagupan City legal officer, for her exemplary devotion to public service.
Now on its second year, the event catered to those in the career women category.
The honorees were presented their individual blow-up, black and white photos they themselves unveiled during the affair.
The event, sponsored by Lady’s Choice, one of the sponsors of this year’s Bangus Festival, was held by the poolside of the Leisure Coast Resort.
