RANG-ay Bank, with head office in San Fernando, La Union, is this year’s recipient of the Pammadayaw award from the province of La Union, after being adjudged as the first ‘Most Outstanding Entrepinoy Investor’.

Ives Nisce, Rang-ay Bank president and chief executive officer, received the award from Gov. Victor Ortega and members of the provincial board in a ceremony at the Diego Silang Social Hall at the provincial capitol.

With him were Ives Jesus Nisce II and Mario Galvez, the bank’s senior managers for administration and operations, respectively.

The awards ceremony was one of the highlights of the 156th Foundation Anniversary of the province of La Union last March 2.

Throughout its 50 years in the rural banking industry, Rang-ay Bank has relentlessly pursued its mission of bringing  progress to the countryside by providing rural entrepreneurs access to credit and banking services.

With 11 banking offices and four more branches to open this year, Rang-ay is the biggest bank in its class in the Ilocos and Cordillera regions.

True to its motto, “Kuwarta ti Ilocos, para kadagiti taga Ilocos”,  Rang-ay Bank plows back the deposits it generates to the communities where it operates by extending loans to local entrepreneurs, thus perking up the local economy.

Rang-ay Bank Dagupan branch is located at the groundfloor of TN building on Burgos street in Dagupan City.
