LINGAYEN – Summer vacation or not, the drug seminars will continue.

This was the assurance made by Vice Gov. Oscar Lambino who indicated that the Pangasinan Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) is\continuing its drug symposium seminars even during the current summer vacation for students.

Lambino, PADAC executive director, said the council has tapped barangay multi-purpose halls and other places as alternative sites since the school campuses cannot be used to hold the symposia during the period.

He said that drug symposia are priority activities of the PADAC headed by Gov. Victor Agbayani. PADAC collaborates with the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), with the support of several Non-Government Organizations.

“We are extending full support to drug users, but their parents must cooperate to have their children fully rehabilitated,” he said as he reiterated the mandate of the council. – APE
