FINALLY, cleaner water is assured for Dagupan consumers.

Five more water refilling stations in Dagupan were closed by the city for various violations.

The five closed stations are Jaravata Water System (Montana) on Burgos Extension, Aqua Scent on Nable Street; Rebecca’s Water Refilling Station in Tapuac District; Armajo Purified Drinking Water on Amado-Tapuac; and Mega Water (Agua Vida) on Perez Boulevard.

A team from city hall said the five water refilling stations violated the provisions of the Implementing Rules and Regulations on Water Supply, Presidential Decree No. 856 or the Code of Sanitation of the Philippines (Chapter II, Section 4 thereon) and City Ordinance No. 1855 for operating without a sanitary permit and mayor’s/business permit to operate.

Based on the verified Actual Sanitation Inspection Report and Survey and records of the One-Stop Business Center, Mayor Benjamin Lim issued a cease and desist order to the owners of the five water refilling stations.
