SOME P350,000 worth of maintenance medications, antibiotics and vitamins were donated to the Dagupan  City government  by RiteMed, a leading provider of quality and affordable generic drugs in the country.

The donation was made to celebrate the pharmaceutical firm’s 20th year anniversary.

Mayor Belen Fernandez received the donation from RiteMed Business Development Specialist Nathaniel Mola during a turnover ceremony on September 19, 2022 at the City Plaza.

“This is our way of giving back to the community,” Mola said.

Dagupan City was chosen as one of the beneficiaries of RiteMed’s nationwide donation campaign because of its population where more people can benefit from donated medicines.

The donated medicines will augment the present supply of medicines at the City Health Office’s Unliserbisyo health programs for the benefit of indigent Dagupeños.

At the turnover ceremony were Vice Mayor Bryan Kua and Councilors Jeslito Seen, Dennis Canto, Michael Fernandez; City Health Officer Ophelia Rivera and RiteMed personnel. (Dagupan CIO News)
