CONSTRUCTION of several infrastructure projects is continuing in the Fourth District through the initiative of Rep. Christopher de Venecia.

Among the ongoing projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the Fourth District are the Pugaro-Manaoag Slope Protection, Sapang-Manaoag Slope Protection, and Bonuan Boquig road with drainage and Malued-Guilig road with drainage, both in Dagupan City and the Nalsian-Manaoag Flood Control Project.

Several multi-purpose halls are also being constructed. These are located in Alitaya-Mangaldan, now on its Phase 2 Proper-San Fabian; Sa Jose-San Jacinto and Sapang-Manaoag.

According to De Venecia, multi-purpose halls with covered courts are also being constructed in Baritao-Manaoag; Bonuan Binloc-Dagupan; Lipit Sur-Manaoag; and multi-purpose building and health station, Phase 2 in Landas-Mangaldan.

Roads being constructed are those in Embarcadero-Osiem in Mangaldan and Sobol-San Fabian while a foot bridge is being constructed in Tambac-Dagupan; and a bridge is being built in Mamalingling-Dagupan.

De Venecia said all these projects aim to respond the needs of the residents to have safe and convenient shelters above their heads every time they hold social occasions. (Leonardo Micua)
