CENPELCO, CS First Green ink deal for solar power plant

LOCATED IN BAYAMBANG WITH 10-MW CAPACITY

THE Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (CENPELCO) and CS First Green Agri-Industrial Development, Inc. have formalized a partnership for a 10-megawatt Renewable Energy Supply Agreement, with the solar power facility to be built in Bayambang.

The ceremonial contract signing was held on September 23, 2025 at the HES Auditorium, National Electrification Administration (NEA) headquarters.

NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda witnessed the agreement signed by CENPELCO General Manager Engr. Rodrigo Corpuz, Board President Marlon Magalong, CS First Green Chairman Cezar Quiambao, and President Bernardo Bawing.

In a Facebook post of NEA, the agency said Almeda congratulated both parties, emphasizing that the project will provide reliable, cost-efficient, and environmentally friendly power for CENPELCO’s member-consumer-owners. (Eva Visperas)
