THE Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Mangaldan cautioned the public against individuals who are circulating in barangays selling LPG regulators directly to homes.

According to Municipal Fire Marshal FSINSP Jonathan de Vera, they have received several reports of salespeople targeting older residents and others who are easily convinced that the regulators are devices designed to protect homes from fire hazards and reduce gas consumption.

He said these products are not endorsed by the BFP and are often sold at overpriced rates.
