No fare hike seen as fuel prices drop
THE One Pangasinan Transport Federation (OPTF) expressed optimism that fuel prices will continue to drop following last week’s rollback, which means relief for drivers, operators, and commuters.
“This is our chance to recover, and we hope the reduction in fuel prices will continue,” OPTF president Bernard Tuliao said in an interview.
With the recent oil price cut, there are no longer immediate plans to pursue a provisional fare hike in the province.
On Tuesday, fuel prices saw a notable decrease with gasoline dropping by ₱0.70 per liter, diesel by ₱0.10 per liter, and kerosene by ₱0.80 per liter. (Ahikam Pasion)
