DECORP rates drop slightly in June
THE Dagupan Electric Corporation (DECORP) announced a decrease in electricity rates in the month of June, with the average selling rate at P9.45 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), a slight drop from P9.63 per kWh in May.
This reduction means that a typical household consuming 100 kWh per month will see an P18 reduction in their electricity bill.
The rate decrease is attributed to lower generation costs, which resulted from a drop in electricity prices at the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM). (Ahikam Pasion)
