5,000 tourists flock to San Fabian on Holy Week
AROUND 5,000 visitors came to San Fabian from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday this year, according to the town’s tourism office.
Municipal Tourism Officer Jonathan Gacosta said the visitors flocked to the popular San Fabian beach and other tourist attractions in the town.
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) conducted a well-organized monitoring throughout the Holy Week.
Engr. Lope Juguilon, MDRRMO officer, reported that no jellyfish sting was recorded in the town during the period, unlike last year.
Overall, the Holy Week observance was generally peaceful, he said. (Kim Gealogo)
