Toff deV inaugurates new DNHS school building
FOR GRADE 8-10 STUDENTS
FOURTH District Rep. Christopher de Venecia led on Tuesday the inauguration of the newly built two-story, eight-classroom building of the David National High School (DNHS) in Mangaldan to house Grade 8 and Grade 10 students.
Built at a cost of P19.3 million, the new school building was initiated by De Venecia.
It is the latest two-story school building completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Department of Education (DepEd) in the 4th District of Pangasinan.
In his message De Venecia encouraged students to use the new building to broaden their knowledge and serve as their inspiration to attain a better future.
Melvin Callanta, DNHS head teacher, thanked De Venecia, the Mangaldan municipal government, DepEd, DPWH and the local Parents-Teachers Association who all helped make the project a reality.
De Venecia will be completing his third term in office and his mother, Gina, is running for the position in the May election.
Together with former five-time House Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., they formed the “serbisyong 3-in-one” in their district. (Leonardo Micua)
