417 Pozorrubio farmers get monggo seeds
A total of 417 farmers in Pozorrubio received monggo seeds from the local government last December 3, 2024 to boost the town’s overall production of the legume.
The beans will be sown after the second harvest season in the summer months next year.
The distribution was led by Mayor Kelvin T. Chan in collaboration with Municipal Agricultural Office and Councilor Lester M. Bermudez, chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture of the Sangguniang Bayan.
Chan expressed hope that the initiative will enhance the standard of living of monggo farmers while contributing to the growth of Pozorrubio’s agriculture sector. (Kim Gealogo)
