DTI’s ‘Diskuwento Caravan’ offers up to 70% discounts on school supplies

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pangasinan partnered with several establishments for the opportunity to offer up to 70 percent discount on school supplies through its “Back-to-School” Diskuwento Caravan.
Guillermo Avelino Jr., the officer-in-charge of Consumer and Protection division, said that eight stores in Pangasinan are participating in this program: CSI The City Mall – Dagupan City, Unitop, SM City Rosales, CB Mall Urdaneta, and SM City Urdaneta Central.
To help guide parents, DTI released the ‘Gabay sa Pamimili ng School Supplies’ that lists suggested retail prices for school supplies. It is available on DTI’s Facebook page.
Avelino encouraged the parents to check the labels of school supplies they purchase, look for the name and address of the manufacturer or importer, as well as the number of pages in notebooks and paper. (Ahikam Pasion)
