New Calasiao access road to boost tourism, agriculture
THE newly-completed P30-million access road project along Barangay San Vicente project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Calasiao is seen to boost agriculture and tourism.
Esperanza Tinaza, DPWH Region I information officer, said the access road is 1.5428 kilometers long and reinforced with a concreted pipe culvert drainage.
Construction began on February 13, 2023 and was completed on May 2 this year, coinciding with the town’s fiesta.
Tinaza said that the access road will surely boost tourism because the access road connects the area up to the town proper, where the Señor Divino Tesoro Shrine is located enabling visitors from western towns to drive through Barangay San Vicente. (Ahikam Pasion)
