DAR distributes machineries to Bayambang farmers
FARMERS in Bayambang were selected as the latest beneficiaries of P1-million worth of new farming machinery by the Department of Agrarian Reform.
The donated machinery, composed of hand tractors with trailer, water pumps, floating tillers, knapsack sprayers, and hybrid seeds, were accepted by Municipal Agriculture Office and Bayambang Poverty Reduction Team (BPRAT).
The beneficiaries are the 106 members of the Sanlibo Farmer’s Association Inc.
The new equipment is expected to help increase productivity on the 197.6 hectares of land covered by DAR’s Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. (Kim Gealogo)
