Basista conducts livelihood training for out-of-school youths
THE Basista local government conducted a livelihood training on electrical installation and maintenance for local out-of-school youths last November 14, at the Basista Central School.
Basista Mayor Jolly Resuello launched the training program participated in by 30 OSYs, in partnership with Public Schools District Supervisor Catherine Operaña and Basista Central School Alternative Learning System (ALS).
The livelihood training sought to equip out-of-school youths in the community with employable skills they can utilize as their livelihood.
Mayor Resuello hailed the training program as a significant initiative that focused on raising the productivity and proficiency level of the OSYs and giving them opportunities to seek convenient jobs. (Kim Gealogo)
