PDIC to service claims of closed Bangko Pangasinan starting July 10
THE Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) will service depositors of the closed Bangko Pangasinan – A Rural Bank, Inc. who are required to file deposit insurance claims starting on July 10, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at designated payout sites.
Deposit insurance claims will be serviced from July 10 to 12, 2023 at the Head Office located at Canto Building, Tapuac District, Dagupan City; Burgos branch on M. Guiang St., Poblacion, Burgos; and Bolinao branch on National Road, Concordia District, Bolinao.
Meanwhile, depositors of Alaminos and Aguilar branches may file their claims on July 10 and 11, 2023 at PDB Bldg., Marcos Avenue, Palamis, Alaminos City, and on Zamuco St., Poblacion, Aguilar, respectively.
Required to file claims are depositors with account balances of more than P100,000, all business entities and depositors with obligations with the closed bank, depositors who have incomplete mailing addresses in the records of the closed bank, depositors who failed to update their mailing addresses using the PDIC Mailing Address Update Form (MAUF), legal heirs of deceased depositors, and depositors who are not covered by waived filing, regardless of type of account and account balance.
The PDIC assures depositors that all valid deposit insurance claims will be paid up to the maximum deposit insurance coverage of P500,000. #
