DTI assures goods being sold within SRP
THE Department of Trade and Industry provincial office assured the public that it is continuously monitoring the prices of basic prime commodities to protect the buying public from profiteering traders.
Inspectors are deployed by DTI in supermarkets and grocery stores to check compliance with law on price tags to ensure that prices are within the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) approved by DTI.
The SRP provides information about retailers that resort to unethical and deceptive transactions, giving consumers the choice which product to buy.
DTI Pangasinan is encouraging consumers to download E-presyo app of DTI to find out the SRP of products. (by 104.7 IFM Dagupan)
