DOLE to hold 5 job fairs on Independence Day
TO celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Philippine Independence on June 12, 2023, the Department of Labor and Employment-Regional Office 1 (DOLE RO1) will hold five job fairs simultaneously in five locations in Pangasinan.
The job fairs will be at the Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center in Alaminos City; Nepo Mall and SM Center in Dagupan City; SM City Rosales in Rosales town; and CB Mall in Urdaneta City.
In a statement, DOLE Ilocos regional director Exequiel Ronie Guzman said DOLE will continue to leverage job fairs as they remain an effective tool in employment facilitation.
Interested job seekers are encouraged to pre-register now through the link bit.ly/kalayaanjfregister.
“Pre-registered applicants will have fast-lane access to the venue on the day of the fair, thus increasing their chances to be hired on the spot,” said Guzman.
As of May 26, DOLE RO1 already pooled 9,496 job vacancies from 56 employers, i.e., from the field of business process outsourcing (BPO), tourism and hospitality, construction, and sales and retail. (PIA Pangasinan/AMMB)
