SINAG sees higher rice price in weeks ahead
THE Samahan ng Agrikultura at Industry expect continuous spike in the prices of rice in the markets of Pangasinan owing to the increase in the price of palay from P22 to P3 per kilo.
SINAG attributed the price increases of many commodities to the impact of the higher costs of fuel in the international market and the increase in the price of rice cannot be avoided because farmers and producers use fertilizers and pesticide that raise their production costs.
