THE Department of Agriculture distributed sentinel hogs, hog starter feeds and hog grower feeds to 45 raisers in San Carlos City who lost their hogs to the African Swine Fever.

The hog raisers became parts of the ASF Sentineling Program and Livestock Banner Program of the Agriculture Department.

The DA will continue to monitor the status of the sentinel hogs every 40 days by DA technicians. (From 107.4 IFM Dagupan)
