Land buyers, sellers need to secure clearance, permit
IN an advisory, the Binalonan municipal government reminded buyers and sellers of lands in the town to observe the legal processes in their transactions defined by the newly created Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) to avoid facing legal problems that can complicate their situations.
It warned that selling and buying of lands is illegal when the parties don’t comply with and secure legal documents such as the Approved Subdivision Plan, Development Permit from the LGU and Certificate of Registration, as well as the License to Sell from the DHSUD.
The public is advised to contact DHSUD (tel. 297-2399) or send inquiries to the Binalonan Municipal Planning and Development Office before proceeding with any land transaction. (Jhon Caranto)
