The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Pangasinan is set to award its Bagwis Seal of Excellence to at 87 business establishments in Pangasinan for practicing good consumer service.

Guillermo Avelino, Jr., senior trade and industry development specialist and in-charge of Consumer Protection Division of DTI-Pangasinan, said of the number, 52 firms will be conferred with gold Bagwis Seal, 25 with silver, and 10 with bronze.

The Bagwis Accreditation Program of DTI seeks to cite business establishments or firms that serve as an example to other firms in consumer welfare protection and social responsibility.

Avelino said awardees of the seal of excellence are set to receive their plaque of recognition on October 28 at the Event Center of SM City Urdaneta Central in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. (PIA Pangasinan/EMSA)
