Cong Toff moves for 4th District homegrown coffee
WITH the coffee industry booming in the 4th District, Rep. Christopher de Venecia aims to do another big thing for coffee: introduce and cultivate coffee proudly produced by residents in his district.
In his visit to coffee shops throughout the district, it was learned that most of them outsource their coffee beans from other parts of the country.
“Gusto natin at some point magkaroon tayo ng atin”, said De Venecia.
De Venecia said he is set to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture for possible partnership, with a high-value crop evaluation.
“And hopefully we’ll have our own blend, para maging iba naman tayo!”, he said.
