Price rise in Region 1 by 3 to 5 percent
THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) provincial office released the new authorized prices of prime commodities in Region 1.
These include the price of one can of sardines, raised by 50 to 75 centavos; noodles, by 25 to 40 centavos, and condensed milk, by two pesos.
DTI said that the prices of prime commodities in the region increased by approximately 3 to 4 percent on account of the rising inflation affecting the entire nation.
DTI warned retailers not to take advantage of the situation by raising prices of their commodities beyond the authorized approved prices. (104.7 IFM-Dagupan)
