SOCIAL Security System (SSS) members can start updating their contact information via My.SSS portal.

Online updating of contact information was suspended last year to allow improvement of the system with additional safety measures in the state-run pension fund’s system.

Joane Garimbao, acting regional communication officer of SSS-Luzon Central I Division, said members can just log in to their online account to update details such as telephone number, mobile number, mailing address, foreign address, and e-mail address. However, they cannot change their home address through this portal.

Members with no existing contact information except their mobile number are urged update their contact details.

Members simply click the “Update Contact Info” option under the “Member Info” menu.

However, members who do not have a registered mobile number with SSS will have to visit any SSS branch to submit their mobile number via the Member Data Change Request Form and set an appointment through their My.SSS account or can do walk-in transactions on the set schedule based on the last digit of their SSS number.
