TESDA conducts solar panel installation orientation
THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) conducted an orientation to jumpstart a 35-day Training on Photovoltaics (PV) System installation as part of the whole-of-nation approach for development in San Nicolas town.
The training was conducted under the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood, and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) in partnership with the Luciano Millan Memorial School of Arts and Trades (LMMSAT) and San Nicolas local government.
TESDA Ilocos regional director Vincent Cifra said each trainee-beneficiary received P160 allowance per day, P500 allowance for personal protective equipment (PPE), P500 for internet allowance, and another P500 for uniform.
“Since one of the main problems of our province-mates in Barangay Malico is power supply, this is a big help to them especially since they can be given knowledge on solar panel installation,” Cifra said. (PIA Pangasinan/RPMIII)
