DPWH completes flood mitigation project along Agno River
THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the flood mitigation structure along Agno River in Barangay Pantal, Bugallon town.
During typhoons and heavy rains, the Agno River that traverses nine provinces including Pangasinan, affects communities like Bugallon when the river overflows due to flooding.
The completed 342 lineal meters flood mitigation structure will provide resilient guard against river overflow to protect residents and properties nearby.
The P29.4 million project was implemented by the DPWH-Second District Engineering Office headed by District Engineer Edita Manuel. (PIA Pangasinan/AMMB)
