DOLE sets face-to-face job fairs in Pangasinan

THE Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has issued job fair clearances for 10 venues in Pangasinan for face-to-face (F2F) job fairs.

“The resumption of the F2F job fairs is a celebration of the reinvigorated thrust of DOLE to strengthen its partnerships with the LGUs, through their respective Public Employment Services Office (PESO),” DOLE Ilocos regional director lawyer Evelyn Ramos said.

Ramos said the F2F format is still the more effective and engaging platform for job seekers.

Six of the nine job fairs in March have already been conducted in the first two weeks of the month in in Pangasinan that generated 12 hired-on-the-spot, while many others were near-hires and were considered for further evaluation,” the DOLE Ilocos Region said.

The scheduled F2F job fair venue in Pangasinan are PESO complex in Lingayen (March 24); municipal covered court, Rosales, (March 31); Doña Carmen Park, San Manuel, (April 1); Doña Victoria Elementary School, Dagupan City (April 5); 3rd floor Royal Mall, Bayambang, Pangasinan (April 6); Pangasinan PESO complex, Lingayen, (April 6); municipal gym, Anda, Pangasinan (April 8); municipal covered court, Natividad, Pangasinan (April 8); municipal gymnasium, Tayug, Pangasinan (April 19); and city plaza and museum, Dagupan City (April 23).
