NHA offers low-cost housing to public, private employees

THE National Housing Authority (NHA) is inviting government employees to avail the low-cost housing being offered by the government in various areas in Pangasinan.

According to Aida Daiwey, NHA program manager for Region 1 and the Cordilleras said the available housing units are at the Pilgrim Heights Residences in Manaoag town.

All uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, government employees, and overseas Filipino workers, are qualified.

The housing project will have 375 units to be constructed in the 53,136 square meters lot in Barangay Pugaro in Manaoag town and a unit costs P1.9 million and can be availed of through Pag-IBIG Fund or NHA.

The  two-storey unit in an 80-square-meter lot has two bedrooms.

“Those who wanted to avail will be pre-qualified,” she said.

Daiwey said another housing project is at Pangasinan Ville in Urdaneta City with 700 units available. It was recently opened to local government employees of Urdaneta City.

She said the projects are in Maniboc, Lingayen town, in Camp Gregg in Bayambang town and Caoayan Hills in Sual town were made available to provincial government employees and uniformed and non-uniformed personnel. (Jerick Pasiliao)
