Convention Center project construction on schedule

CONSTRUCTION of the Pangasinan Convention and Multi-Purpose Center (PCMPC) on a 18-hectare land in Barangay Umanday, Bugallon town is proceeding according to timetable.

This was the assurance given Gov. Amado Espino III last Sunday, Sept. 5,  when he made an ocular inspection to look into the progress of the construction for which the provincial government allocated P30-M.

Based on the project plan, PCMPC will have a has a seating capacity of 8,237.

The provincial government will also build a four-storey hotel, restaurant, Olympic-size swimming pools for children and adults, an activity area, and a wide parking lot on a 4,865.00 sq.m. land.

Espino together with other provincial government officials led the groundbreaking ceremony of the PCMPC on Mar. 26, 2019.

Meanwhile, Espino also visited the ongoing construction of the 1,710 sq.m.  medical ward inside the Lingayen District Hospital with new diagnostic and emergency rooms.

The provincial chief executive also inspected the building and warehouse of the Provincial Engineering Office and the General Services Office. (Jerick Pasiliao)
