SM Supermalls has partnered with different LGUs to open the multi-mall vaccination program. As of August 8, a total of 2,075,327 vaccine doses have been administered at SM malls vaccination sites nationwide. This is to support the community in their endeavor to vaccinate the public against COVID-19.

In Rosales town, 1,996 vaccine doses were administered at SM City Rosales made possible by collaboration among the Rosales Rural Health Unit, Rosales private hospitals, and Rosales local government.

SM City Rosales has been providing a venue, electrical power supply, Wi-Fi connection, and other resources to make sure vaccinations are administered safely and correctly including ensuring social distancing among vaccinees and providing SM security to ensure order in the area.

SM City Rosales also began promoting “Vax, Shop, and Dine” theme that rewards vaccinated individuals with discounts, freebies, or special offers from restaurants and shops, in support of the private sector-led campaign, Ingat Angat Bakuna Lahat.

The mall recently earned its safety seal from the Rosales local government as a testament to the strict implementation and compliance of the minimum public health standards to operate a business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It has always been our commitment to ensure the health and safety of the public, that is why we will continue providing convenient and accessible venues where our communities can get vaccinated safely. We will roll out more vaccination centers nationwide to help expedite the administration of COVID-19 vaccines and curb the spread of the virus,” said SM Supermalls president Steven Tan.
