THE Department of Labor and Employment regional office awarded safety seals to two large and high-risk companies in Pangasinan: San Miguel Corporation Sta. Barbara Plant, in Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan, and Dagupan Electric Corporation (DECORP).

The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that cites an establishment’s compliance with the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact tracing with staysafe.ph.

The DOLE issues the Safety Seal for the manufacturing, construction sites, utilities (electric, water, gas, air conditioning supply, sewerage, waste management) information and communication companies and warehouses. (DOLE)
