He said each site has a maximum speed of 10 megabits per second (mbps).

In his speech, Honasan said President Rodrigo Duterte’s first marching order to him when he assumed as the DICT secretary was to connect the government to the citizens, global community and businesses to boost the economic activity.

“Access to data and information are now considered as rights. We need timely, complete and accurate information that really allows our people to make informed, rational and intelligent long-term decisions,” Honasan said.

Gov. Espino conveyed the gratitude of the provincial government to the DICT for establishing the ICT project beneficial to Pangasinenses.

“The ease of doing business, the ease of connecting and informing the people of Pangasinan was made possible by the DICT,” he said.

After the launching, Honasan and Espino inked a memorandum of agreement on future DICT plans and projects in Pangasinan. (Jerick Pasiliao)
