THE Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) sent its endorsement to the Department of Health (DOH) on the application of Pozorrubio Community Hospital with 47-bed capacity for a license to operate.

The resolution was proposed by Fifth District Board Member Nicoli Jan Sison and co-authored by Board Member Ma. Rosario Gracia Perez-Tababa.

Sison said it will most especially cater to sick residents of Pozorrubio, Sison, part of Binalonan, part of Laoac and part of Manaoag where another community hospital is operated by the province, the Manaoag Community Hospita.

A satellite hospital of the bigger Urdaneta District Hospital in Urdaneta City, the new Pozorrubio Community Hospital will again be operated by the provincial government just like 14 other public hospitals under its umbrella. (Leonardo Micua)
