Color coding scheme for city’s ambulant vendors
THE Dagupan City government started implementing a color-coding scheme for ambulant vendors along Galvan Street on Tuesday, May 18.
The scheme seeks to limit and allocate space for ambulant vendors that have been overcrowding the street in violation of the health and distancing protocol set by the IATF while the rehabilitation of Jovellanos Street, and the elevation of a portion of Galvan Street, are ongoing.
The color-coding scheme only allows vendors’ carts colored blue to sell on Galvan Street on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; while vendors with orange-colored carts are allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Sunday is free-for-all day for the vendors. (Ahikam Pasion)
