Fish retailing consolidated at Malimgas
TO help improve fish vendors’ profit margins in the Malimgas Public Market, the city government will no longer allow the retail of fish in the Magsaysay wholesale fish market. Butch Gutierrez, head of the city’s anti-hawking task force, said this is being done in order to rationalize the fish market trade and prevent unfair competition between retailers and wholesalers in the two markets
