LINGAYEN–The provincial health office (PHO) reiterated its warning to beach bathers and swimmers in beaches to beware of the jellyfish. “A jellyfish sting can be life-threatening,” said Dr. Anna Ma. Teresa De Guzman, provincial health officer (PHO) as she advised bathers to avoid going into the deep portions of the water where most jellyfishes are.
PISTA’Y DAYAT 2013 PANGASINAN, with a long coast facing the Lingayen Gulf, is once again celebrating the sea and its bounty with the annual Pista’s Dayat (Sea Festival). The festival started last April 19 with street dancing and a drum and lyre exhibition at the Capitol Beach Front in Lingayen.
