You have to admit that rhetoric that you used against Mrs. Lim had the ability to incite those of lesser minds and their spinmasters to use such phrases as “Mayor’s wife bombs newspaper publisher” and “Mayor’s wife blasts newspaper publisher.”

Yes, I believe that the freedom of the press is one of the sacred rights granted by the constitution. Even the satirical depiction of a political entity is fair game. Along with these rights there must also be the responsibility of the press not to incite action such as those taken against Mrs. Lim.

A mob (organized by Belen Fernandez?) such as those that met Mrs. Lim could have had dire consequences had there been a deranged individual in the crowd, e.g., a person such as that who shot a congresswoman and killed a half a dozen people in the U.S.

Please continue your coverage of the happenings but please be a wee bit more restrained. A miscreant with a gun or bullet can undo any progress that may have been made.
