LAP PROGRAM IN TAYUG. Participating Barangay officials from Barangay Agno in Tayug creates a hazard map for their barangay as a part of the Ligtas at Aktibong Pamayanan (LAP) program held on March 3. Launched in 2017, yhe LAP program one of the community-based flagship programs of Governor Amado I. Espino III. The program specifically aims to help hazard-prone barangays across the province equipping local officials with trainings in disaster preparedness. The of Pangasinan through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) also discussed various topics on disaster preparedness such as the COVID-19 pandemic and local armed-conflict situation. /PJES (Photo by MVS)
