Downtrend of COVD-19 cases continues

AS the initial anti-COVID-19 vaccine is yet being awaited in Pangasinan, the number of  active cases continues to take a downturn, from 322 last February 25 to 266 as of March 4 .

Over the past one week period, there were 50 COVID-19 patients that recovered and were discharged from their confinement and isolation while six others died, based on the monitoring of the Provincial Health Office (PHO).

Of the remaining 266 active cases as of March 4, at least 246 were recorded in towns and cities of Pangasinan and 20 in Dagupan City, an independent component city.

Total recoveries have increased to 4,542 (out of 5,045 total confirmed cases) recorded: 3,905 in Pangasinan and 1,140 in Dagupan City.

Death toll in the province since the start of the contagion is 237 (188 in Pangasinan and 49 in Dagupan City). (Leonardo Micua)
