DAGUPAN City councilor Dennis Canto urged medical practitioners in the city to volunteer as vaccinator for the city.

Canto, chairman on the committee on public health and sanitation, underscored the city’s urgent need for vaccinators after the series of consecutive committee and public hearings on the expected roll out of vaccination in the city.

Canto’s invitation was directed at nurses, midwives, medical technologists, and even dentists to become the city’s vaccinators.

He asked interested volunteers to see Dr. Ophelia Rivera, the city’s COVID-19 focal person, Dr. Aurora Cuison, the city health officer, or City Administrator Vladimir Mata, said Canto.

Earlier, Canto pledged to donate PPEs, face mask, and face shields for volunteers’ use. (Ahikam Pasion)
