Fisherman meets grisly end in Sual
A 30-year-old fisherman in Sual town died after figuring in a vehicular accident along the provincial road.
The victim, Jomar Ordoñez, a resident of Baquioen, Sual, was riding his motorcycle along the provincial road of Barangay Poblacion, when he accidentally sideswiped a scooter ridden by Modesto Turqueza, 63, and caused Ordoñez to fall by the road.
A speeding passenger bus, being driven by Roberto Cruz, 51, following Ordoñez was unable to avoid the latter and run over his head.
He and Turqueza were both rushed to the hospital, where Ordoñez was declared dead on arrival. (Ahikam Pasion)
