THE suspect behind the slay of a city health office (CHO) employee in Alaminos City last week is already in police custody.

The suspect, Allan Ravena, a resident of barangay Pandan in Alaminos City, surrendered to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group last Sunday.

Barangay Kapitan Timoteo Giron ordered Ravena to shoot Alfred Pasamic, a barangay resident, in the middle of an altercation over a land dispute over an area facing the Hundred Islands National Park.

Pasamic sustained several gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body, and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

Giron was immediately arrested. (Ahikam Pasion)
