Chess player Eivan Jacob Cruz (2nd from left) who hails from Lingayen garners the two golds in Traditional Category and Chess960 Category in the 1st Governor Amado I. The online chess tournament,  aims to enhance the skills of young chessers in the province in the new normal. Other winners of the chess tournament were: Marlon Mortel (2nd place) from Bolinao, and Antonio III Almodal (3rd place) from Villasis in the Traditional Category and Brylle Gever Vinluan (2nd place) from San Fabian, and Allan Frianeza (3rd place) from Dagupan City in the Chess960 Category. /PJES (photos by MVS)
