This was bared by Governor Amado I. Espino III as he led the distribution of P2.6-million livelihood assistance to 15 groups and 1 micro, small, medium enterprise (MSME) on January 8 at the Sison Auditorium.

Governor Espino noted that the provincial government has also extended 0% interest to loan payments under the Livelihood Assistance Program (LAP) of the province.

Governor Espino signed Executive Order No. 0084-2020 on January 7, providing a zero interest on loans applied under the Provincial Livelihood Assistance Program during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The provincial chief executive also urged the beneficiaries of the LAP to be partners of the provincial government in the fight against the COVID-19 that has dreadfully affected all sectors around the globe.

The 15 groups and 1 MSME, aiding a total of 473 beneficiaries comprised the first batch of LAP beneficiaries this 2020.
