COVID-19 centers inaugurated in Pangasinan
TWO new centers for treatment of COVID-19 patients were inaugurated in Pangasinan last week.
Gov. Amado Espino III and Office of the Civil Defense Regional Director Eugene Cabrera led the inauguration of Provincial Ligtas COVID-19 Center in Burgos town with 25 bed-capacity that will accommodate COVID-19 mild patients in the province.
It will be operated by the Provincial Health Office and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Center (PDRRMO) in coordination with the Department of Health (DOH).
Cabrera, who also chairs the Regional Task Force 1 (RTF-1) on COVID-19 pledged support to all the programs of the provincial government and the operations of the facilities.
Meanwhile, another COVID-19 isolation facility was opened in Sta. Barbara town situated at the compound of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.
The facility has a 56-bed capacity ready to accommodate COVID-19 mild patients in the province. (RPM/PIA)
