New active cases down to 63, 45 more recovered

DAGUPAN’S COVID-19 STORY

ACTIVE cases in Dagupan City are down to 63 patients (as of November 5) compared to 118 on October 29, after registering recovery of 45 patients in a span of one week.

According to the Public Information of Dagupan, the biggest gain in the campaign contra COVID-19 was registered by Bonuan. Gueset, the largest and most populated barangay of Dagupan, when its cases dropped to just seven, from 44 a week before. Barangay Pantal has become the pace setter at 16 cases, one case lower than its previous 17 cases.

Only five new confirmed cases were registered while five patients have recovered on November 5.

Overall, Dagupan so far registered 441 cases, 358 have recovered with fatality rate of 20 deaths. The city is still considered as the epicenter in Pangasinan.

The 441 total cases in the city were among the 13,730 persons who underwent COVID-19 testing conducted by the Dagupan LGU.

With only 63 active cases remaining, Dagupan’s isolation facilities are only doing 26 percent occupancy.

The latest count in the city is: Pogo Chico (7 active cases), Bonuan Gueset (7), Caranglaan (5), Lucao (5), Bonuan Boquig (4), Lomboy (4), Malued (3), Pogo Grande (3), Mayombo (2), Tapuac (2),and Tebeng (2).
