Dagupan gives P100K aid to Calapan City
THE Dagupan Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution authorizing Mayor Brian Lim to release P100,000 as financial aid to the city government of Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro to supports its ongoing rescue, response and rehabilitation following the onslaught of Typhoon Quinta.
Authored by Councilor Celia Lim and co-authored by Councilor Cisco Flores, the resolution took note that Oriental Mindoro has declared a state of calamity due to massive destruction to infrastructure, properties and agriculture.
The financial assistance was being made by Dagupan City to show solidarity with the people of Calapan City in their times of grave need. (Butch Oca)
